A Monthly Column: an oral history of migrant detention centers blended with personal narrative along the reportage journey. 

In Denmark, there is no maximum stay in their migration detention facilities. Rejected asylum seekers have been detained for up to ten years (2016-2026). This is a project to record their testimonies. I also document my personal experience and perspective while traveling between the US, Mexico, and Denmark.
